The interface is cramped, with no option for improving readability. IngenMoney opens with a wizard to help teach basic functions. Be warned: setting up your first budget takes a basic understanding of some financial concepts and terms. The program does allow for two users to keep separate budgets. Other functions included are a loan calculator, banking sheet printouts, and a phone dialer to download banking data. The program cannot download data via the Internet or import financial data files. Inexplicably, IngenMoney wastes resources with a built-in MP3 player. The install application does not include a needed library, which is not the case with some older versions of Windows. This program is not for spreadsheet or financial novices, but advanced users and quick learners may find the process rewarding.
